About
Clare is a storyteller creating at the intersection of playwriting, sound and performance. They work as a sound designer and composer for the theatre, specialising in new work and sonic dramaturgy.
They create original music under their project Hennessy Rose. The debut album, KATABASIS, is a concept album that conjures a journey of rebirth inspired by gothic folk textures and the mysticism of the Australian Country.
Their written work interrogates the distinctive voices and rhythms of Australian relationships, inextricably shaped by the environments that create them and the beliefs that define us.
